Communication

Effective communication is a life skill that will empower a girl throughout her life. Many girls have not been exposed to healthy, effective communication and therefore aren't aware of it's importance. By teaching that communication involves so much more than just the words, one can give them a better understanding of effective communication. She will benefit by understanding the significant impact body language has in communication. She will also benefit by understanding that listening is just as important in effective communication as talking. She may need to be taught how to actively listen when someone speaks.
