Write a Letter

Denise Chrisman

The objective of this activity is to express your pride for your daughter in the form of a letter.

Write a letter to your daughter telling her all the qualities in her that you really adore. Tell her what makes you proud to be her parent. Be honest, genuine, and positive. DO not mention any trouble, problems, or issues. This is a letter to let her know that you do recognize the positive and value her for who she is. Address the problems and issues at another time.

Give her this letter with no strings attached. Do not expect anything in return. Remember, this is for her. If she responds, it's her choice.
