The Human Knot

Michelle Zechmann

Groups of 5-10 people stand in a circle - take one hand and reach across circle to grab another person's hand. (Try not to get someone who is right next to you). Take second hand and grab hand of a different person - creating a human knot! Try to undo the knot without letting go of any hands.

De-brief:

Ask: What was hard? What worked? What didn't work in strategizing? Talk about how communication is so important in working together.
