Who Am I

Michelle Zechmann

Can be done with groups of 5 - 100 people.

Place a label on each person with different identifying information written on it. The person SHOULD NOT read his or her own label. (Re: elderly woman, paralyzed man, woman with HIV/AIDS, lesbian or gay man, homeless person, deaf person, learning disabled, jack (athlete), nerd, single mom, fat person, blonde girl, Arab-American, Jehovah's Witness, blind person).

Have group mingle and "react" to each other.

Each person tries to figure out who they are, by asking each person 1 question - which must be a yes/no answer.

Ask one question and move on to another person.

Debrief:
How did you feel when people reacted to you?

Did others treat you any different?

Did you treat others differently?
