Relationships

By teaching a girl skills for relationships such as effective communication, identifying and understanding unhealthy relationships, the significance of body language, and conflict resolution techniques, she acquires the tools necessary to establish and maintain relationships on her own. This empowers her, which will not only enhance her relationships but also her self-confidence and self esteem. Peer relationships have a significant influence in the lives of the girls we work with. Girls are motivated by relationships. Girls are also more likely than boys to participate in aggression through a relationship (gossiping, lashing out).
