The objective of this activity is to enhance self esteem as well as enhance the relationship between the girls in the group.

Materials Needed: Blank certificates, pens, ribbon cut into pieces.

1. Hand out certificates with each girls name on it.
   
   
2. Have each girl pass her certificate to the girl on her right.
   
   
3. Instruct each girl to write a short note of appreciation about the girl who's certificate they are holding, i.e. "I appreciate you because _____________." Ask them to be specific and sign their name beneath their note.
   
   
4. When complete, pass that certificate to the girl on their right until each girl has written on each certificate.
   
   
5. The last girl ties a ribbon around the certificate and hands it to its owner who will read it later when she is alone and away from the group.
