Dining Out/Dining In
Denise Chrisman

Arrange for a dinner outing. This is an enjoyable activity for you as well as the girls you take. If you have been practicing social skills and reinforcing good manners, this will give her a chance to use all that she has learned. This is also a great activity for groups as a reward upon completing the group.

Many restaurants are willing to give you a break on cost if you go as a group and you inform them the dinner is an agency activity.

If the restaurants won't give you a break, and your agency cannot fund the outing, arrange a "dining in." Rally your co-workers to help out and prepare some of the meal. Set up formal tables. Require the girls to dress appropriately. And, if possible, convince a few co - workers to serve as waiters and waitresses.
