Department Releases 2007 Annual Report
A year of building …. a year of progress, that is the theme of the Department’s 2007 Annual Report. This year’s annual report begins with a focus on the Department’s core values which have formed a foundation for the progress made in the last year. The report also emphasizes all the building projects the Department endeavored upon this year including building up youth, building families, building community capacity to serve youth, building therapeutic facilities, and building understanding.
Secretary Sweat stated, “The building that took place in 2007 would not have been possible without the dedication of Department staff and because the Department is building from a firm foundation of core values. Thanks to each and every one of you who are one of the builders of today; you make a difference each day and are leaving a lasting imprint for the future.”
