The Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to Host Discussion on the State of Juvenile Justice in North Carolina
Raleigh, N.C. – The Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention will host a forum on the State of Juvenile Justice in North Carolina. Secretary Sweat will discuss the state of juvenile justice in North Carolina as well as the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council Continuation Review.
This forum will provide an opportunity for dialog and input from attendees regarding the continuation review report that is due February 1, 2008. Program providers, direct services staff and chief court counselors will also be in attendance.
The forum will be held on January 10, 2008, from 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center, located at 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, N.C.
